Director of Care Catherine Van Veen says it was a case of the precautions already in place doing their job. The home had an asymptomatic staff member initially test positive in precautionary testing.
“The staff member was tested for a second time as well as all of the staff and residents. Everybody’s came back negative including the staff who had originally tested positive. We were out of outbreak status on Saturday.”
