Council approved a new parkette for the town last month.
North Perth has accepted funding support from the BIA and Libro Credit Union for the project.
The new parkette will be along Main Street East between TD Bank and Ward & Uptigrove.
Construction will begin in September and is expected to be finished in October.
The planned construction work is not expected to cause any street closures or affect businesses.
