The Listowel Agriculture Society is gearing up for its 165th year of the Listowel Fair.
They continue to work on getting events for all ages. The first event has been announced as sunflower and pumpkin seeds are available for order and pickup.
The sunflowers can grow up to 12 feet and Stephanie from the Agricultural Society says one of the pumpkin seeds you can get are rather unique.
“There’s a regular sized pumpkin as well as a giant pumpkin which hopefully could grow up to 600 pounds. We’re excited about doing that.” said Stephanie
Stephanie adding the event is open for anyone to get involved in.
“It’s open to all ages, so it’s not just kids. Anyone can participate just let us know what seeds you’d like and how many packages”
