The Listowel Curling Club is among those getting funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The club has received $49,700 from the capital grant stream to help ensure the community has a safe and adequate area to enjoy community events and curling.
The funding further will give the club the necessary support to replace outdated equipment and purchase an ice controller system.
Rhonda Donegan, President of the Listowel Curling Club says this sends a strong message of acknowledgment of the importance of affordable recreational opportunity for North Perth and the surrounding area.
