They say in the release that now was the time they were considering launching the program again but faced a new challenge of very limited commercial space available within the Listowel BIA.
They add that while it is a good problem it also means running the program would not achieve the results the program was established to create.
The Libro Prosperity Grant, which was awarded for the program will now be repurposed into a new project with the approval of the sponsor.
The BIA Board say they are currently working on how best to use the funds to enhance the pedestrian experience within the downtown and create a more livable space enjoyed by residents, businesses and visitors.
