Liberty Street by Heather Marshall has been named as this years PC Reads title.
The community was called to vote with all five Perth County Information Network libraries asked to make their choice.
Liberty Street is a historical fiction novel, taking readers into the 1960’s and the history of a womens prison.
Heather Marshall, based out of Huron County makes her local ties in authentic and connect the reader with ease.
Libraries in North Perth, Perth East, West Perth and St Marys are kicking off programs and events near the end of the month themed around Liberty Street with all of the programming free to attend.
