Home sales saw their drop last month with another drop of the average price of a home sold in the region.
The Huron-Perth Association of Realtors monthly update shows August had just 170 units sold, a drop of 31.5 per cent when compared to August last year.
Home sales were down 20.2 per cent below the five year average during the month.
On a year to date basis home sales totaled 1,397 units over the first eight months of the year.
The benchmark price of a home was set at $572,700, a leap of 5.4% on a year basis with the average price going for $595,244.
This is large scale drop from over $620,000 in July 2022.
There was 273 new listings for August.
