Volunteers will be closing the parking stalls on Queen Street between Water and Peel Streets at 4 pm so that all will be empty by the start of the parade.
The parade leaves the Pyramid Recreation Centre at 7pm and follows its familiar route up James Street, west on Queen and through downtown. It then heads south on Water Street where it will end.
They advise that Santa will not be stopping at Milt Dunnell Field this year, but they invite everyone to view the WinterLights display following the parade and throughout the festive season.
