A 28 year old has been charged with kidnapping.
On February 19th at around 2:15pm, Wellington County OPP received a call from someone saying they were being held against their will.
Police arrived at a business on Wellington Road 124 with the suspect seen fleeing on foot and was taken into custody shortly after.
As a precaution a nearby school was placed in a hold and secure while police contained the area.
A 28 year old of Brantford has been charged with Kidnapping, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Intimidation and Uttering Threats.
The accused will appear in court at a later date.
