Jamie Heffer has been appointed as Warden of Huron County for the 2025-26 term.
A longtime resident of Morris-Turnberry, Heffer and his wife Lori live on their family farm being actively involved in sheep, beef and crop production.
Elected in council in 2010, Heffer quickly demonstrated his commitment to public service and the advancement of his community who became Deputy Mayor in 2014 and in 2018 was elected as Mayor of Morris-Turnberry who still holds this role.
Heffer says he looks forward to working alongside fellow councilors and the people of Huron to build a prosperous future for the community.
