It was reported that a black passenger vehicle collided with the side of a bridge and a snowbank.
While speaking with driver, officers formed the opinion that the driver was under the influence by alcohol. A roadside screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was arrested and underwent further testing.
A 44 year old of Mount Forest has been charged with operation while impaired 80 plus mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood contrary to the criminal code.
A 90 day administrative driver’s license suspension and 7 day vehicle impoundment were initiated. The accused is scheduled to appear in a Guelph Court on March 23td to answer to the charge.
