Increase In Violent Crimes In Stratford During Pandemic

The Stratford Police Services Board met recently after being apart for several months and members were disturbed by increasing numbers of domestic violence and sexual assault cases.

That seems to be the case in many regions during the pandemic.

The stats showed higher numbers in Stratford,  St. Mary’s,  and Perth South over the summer.

There was also an increase in impaired driving charges.
