The Stratford General Hospital Foundation has reached their $30 million goal as part of their In Our Hands Capital Campaign.
The campaign which was launched back in 2015 but not made public until 2022 has now since raised a total of $31,428,674.40.
The milestone marks a move forward for local healthcare with funds raised to support a list of priorities from the creation of a new Cancer and Medical Care Clinic with a co-located pharmacy and to purchase essential medical equipment and investments in staff training.
Cheryl Hunt, Executive Director of the Stratford General Hospital says by surpassing the $30 million goal its a testament to what the community can achieve together.
