The Listowel Wingham Hospitals Alliance has completed improvements to its Diagnostic Imaging Program which includes upgrades to breast screening technology and the addition of a new CT scanner at the Wingham & District Hospital.
The Listowel Hospital Breast Centre has been transformed into a modern, patient centered facility offering improved access, shorter wait times and an enhanced care experience.
Dr. Joe Barrett, Radiologist of the Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance says the breast screening program has made great strides in the past year with the help of donours and supporters to include many state of the art tools for the early detection of breast cancer.
