With new funding and staff members, Huron County’s Out of the Cold program is ready to start up for the winter season.
Out of the Cold is a winter program that helps provide homeless in the area shelter into a warm space for the night with a meal provided as well as counselling for those battling an addiction with Choices for Change.
The emergency shelter will open up daily starting November 16th and is located at the Lakeshore United Church in Goderich.
Out of the Cold is not a long term solution but is a great step forward in helping the less fortunate get out of the winter weather this season.
