Investigators determined that during the early hours of October 25th and 26th the accused trespassed onto residential properties in Wingham and stole various items from unattended vehicles.
The accused also stole an SUV from a Boland Street property and was later seen driving the vehicle and took off when an attempt to stop was made.
The stolen vehicle was eventually located parked on Shuter Street with the accused inside. The driver was displaying several signs of impairment and was taken to the Detachment for drug testing and was deemed impaired.
A search following the arrest revealed the accused to be in possession of suspected meth, stolen ID, debit cards and unmarked cigarettes. His drivers license was also under suspension.

He remains in custody with a court appearance on October 28th at a Goderich Court.
