The Township of Huron-Kinloss saw an overall success in its Golf Car Pilot Project.
A report from Deputy Clerk, Kelly Lush says 79 registrations were received in the year. 61 new registrations and 18 renewals.
She says they anticipate an increase in 2023 as more residents become aware of the pilot and can register for an entire season.
The annual fee to obtain a golf car permit is $50.
Once registered each person receives a decal to adhere to their golf car indicating they are registered in the pilot project.
