Huron Developed Web Based App Tracking Illnesses

There’s a new health app developed in Huron County with hopes to soon have to rolled out across the country.

Episense is a web based app used for tracking illnesses and give residents the tools to see what the disease trends are in the area of the province they’re in.

Currently Episense is only tracking COVID-19, Measles, RSV, Influenza A, Influenza B and Rhinovirus.

Co-Founder of Episense, Michael Daley explains just how the app works in its early stages.

“Right now we’re offering a 30 day free trial and then there’s a monthly subscription option of $3.99 per month and what that gets you is access to the dashboard which provides publicly available data in an easily understandable format. That’s also combined with insights from anonymous reportings from Episense users which gives us the most up to date illness trends in your area” said Daley.

There is hopes to keep building Episense to have a Lyme Disease tracker among many more down the road.
