Huron County Going Ahead on Rural Roadside Project

Huron County council is going forward with a joint funding agreement with the Canadian Wildlife Federation on Enriching the Rural Roadside Project.

The project aims to help create pollinator habitats and removing invasive species along Huron County roads.

The project aligns with the county’s Corporate Climate Change Adaptation Plan and looks to expand green infrastructure and address the impacts of climate change.

The forest reserve has allocated $20,000 for the project as part of this years budget with another $8700 coming from the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
