Huron County is taking more measures to address the issue of affordable housing by developing more affordable housing units.
The latest development being a 20 unit apartment building in Exeter on sander Street.
The County currently has two housing developments also underway to increase more affordable housing in the region and address homelessness.
Huron County Warden Glen McNeil says staff alongside council have been working hard to secure funding, manage construction and prepare the building for occupation and he is thrilled to see the progress being made to add more housing units and address the housing crisis locally.
