Wellington Heights Secondary student, and Holstein native Hunter McKenzie has signed a standard player agreement with the Guelph Storm in the OHL.
The 2nd round pick in the 2022 draft is a product of the Halton Hurricanes U16 AAA program where he put up 37 points in 24 games this season.
McKenzie also saw a stint with the Listowel Cyclones where he played games, notching a goal and assist.
The 6’0 200lbs centreman is looking forward to starting his career in Guelph and grow as a player.
