Howick Community Centre will Remain Open Next Month

Council has decided to keep the Howick Community Centre until at least April 30th so long as restrictions in Huron-Perth remain the same and do not worsen.

This comes following a council meeting where Operations Manager Brady Nolan recommended keeping the ice at the community centre in place for the month of April. Nolan adding staff could maintain up at least 34 hours of booking per week throughout next month.

The biggest reason for wanting to keep the ice in for the month is to not run the risk of unnecessary hydro charges says Nolan.

The Howick Community Centre would be closely monitored alongside the COVID-19 framework situation for Huron-Perth ready to make any changes should framework in the region change.
