The Huron-Perth Association of Realtors crunched their numbers for last month as well as its totals for the year.
The number of homes sold across the region in December dropped down 17.3 per cent when compared to the same time last year totaling 81 units.
Over the course of 2022, a total of 1907 homes were sold, down 19.3 per cent from 2021.
The price of a home also has dropped with the average price sold in December marked at $605,294, down 6.9 per cent.
There were 105 new listings last month, which also was the largest number of new listings for the month in more than five years.
