A hit and run suspect in Stratford has been arrested.
On August 24th just after 12:30pm, Stratford Police received a hit and run crash on Lorne Avenue east at Downie Street.
It was reported a black Nissan Murano was heading east on Lorne Ave when it rear ended a black Mercedes SUV causing it to hit a blue Honda.
The Nissan driver fled the scene, striking a black van before it turned south on Perth Road 112 and seen entering a ditch on Road 112 at Line 29.
The driver was later found and arrested by Woodstock Police who was identified as a 59 year old man of Woodstock and taken to Stratford Police Headquarters.
The man has been charged with Failure to Stop After an Accident, Failure to Report an Accident, Careless Driving, Dangerous Operation and Disobeying a Stop Sign who will appear in court in October.
