Health Canada approves Moderna vaccine for 12 and older

The Federal Health Agency has approved another Covid-19 vaccine getting Canada’s younger population vaccinated.

Health Canada announced today they have approved Moderna’s vaccine for those aged 12 to 17 calling it “safe and effective at preventing Covid-19”.

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for the same age group since May of this year.

Previously Moderna was only approved in Canada for those 18 years and older since December.
