All is set for tomorrow for the annual Harriston Street Party with Harriston Rising.
The event all begins at 7:30am kicking off with breakfast at the Legion with a long list of events from 9am-2pm including the Leslie Motors Car Show, the Minto Farmers Market at Tannery park, the Business Decorating Contest and fun for the kids.
Erin Raftis, Marketing & Community Development Coordinator with the Town of Minto says as usual the Harriston Historical Society has their Downtown Historical Walk but with a new twist for a self guided walk as well.
“We have a DriftScape app so you can download it and its a self guided tour that you can walk the trails, it tells you where to go and you can learn the history of Harriston” said Raftis.
The street dance party at night this year is not taking place on the downtown but moving over to the parking lot of the Harriston Legion starting at 7:30pm.
