The Harriston Kinsmen are stepping forward alongside the Harriston Foodbank with the Christmas Hamper Campaign.
Zach Leslie, President of the Harriston Kin Club says what they all provide for those in need with the Hamper Campaign.
“What’s being provided is a Christmas dinner, whether it be turkey or ham. It all depends on numbers, size of family, stuff like that. They are given more than just a Christmas dinner, they’re given some non-perishable food items and other things they’d need for the holiday season.” said Leslie
Leslie added its important this time to year to keep supporting local charities.
“Support your local food banks, support your local charities. With what’s happened with COVID-19, people are out of jobs, many more less fortunate. People that need our help.”
Those wanting to register for the Hamper Campaign can do so at the Foodbank office located at the back of the Grey Wellington Theatre.
