The Town of Hanover is adopting a Buy Canadian mindset.
Council on Monday approved a resolution to “buy Canadian” with Mayor Sue Paterson saying they will prioritize Canadian businesses and support the town, even if the current tariffs have been paused.
The resolution further includes support from other levels of government with a request from federal and provincial governments to work with municipalities to protect local consumers and businesses.
