Just after 12am on July 1st, Huron County OPP received a call of a motorist who had ditched their vehicle at the intersection of Black Line and Harriston Road.
Officers identified and spoke with the driver and determined the driver had been drinking.
The driver failed a roadside test and was taken to the Huron OPP detachment for testing. 2 tests showed the driver was above the legal limit.
The 45 year old from Hamilton has been charged with Operation While Impaired, Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 Plus.
The accused was released with a court date on July 26th in Goderich.
