A report from the Stratford economic development agency says there is some level of growth for employment in the city.
The period marked over the 2016 to 2021 period showed the average 1.4 per cent with local unemployment rate now sits at 4.2 per cent.
This number is down much from the high 7.3 per cent in 2020.
investStratford Chief Executive Officer Joani Gerber says more still needs to be done to fill the empty positions across the city, expand youth in an aging population and ensure young workers remain in the area.
