Grey County OPP have seized a quantity of drugs and weapons following a RIDE program stop.
On January 22nd at 1:45am, officers stopped a vehicle as part of a RIDE program being done on Highway 21.
The driver and passenger were both found in violation of probation orders. Investigation and search of the vehicle resulted in police taking a number of firearms as well as opioids, illegal cannabis and suspected fentanyl.
The driver, a 26 year old from Saugeen Shores and the 19 year old passenger from Kitchener were both arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Both face a range of charges including probation violation, weapons and drugs.
Both will appear in court at a later date.
