Due to an increase of fatalities on roads across the area, Grey Bruce OPP have launched a traffic blitz on November 25th.
Members from the Grey Bruce Traffic Management Unit, West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team were all present.
During the day, 28 drivers were charged with speeding related offences.
Officers also laid four charges pertaining to commercial motor vehicles including one of which had improper brakes and was put out of service.
This year has the Grey-Bruce region as one of the highest fatality rates in the OPP West Region for vehicle collisions.
