After many years of discussions, the Grand Trunk site finally has a future in Stratford.
The Grand Trunk renewal project is now moving to its next phase following a commitment of up to $15 million for a shared community facility.
Partnerships include with the YMCA of Three Rivers, the Stratford Public Library and other groups which can be more explored and determine common needs and contributions.
The plan for the site will be a multi use community space for all ages, market sounding to determine developer interest in the site opportunities and integrating the Grand Trunk into the coordinated Downtown Parking Study.
Planning and analysis will continue over the next several months with updates continuing to be provided.
