Over $25,000 was raised at the Cops for Cancer fundraiser in Mitchell.
Done in partnership with Perth County OPP and Stratford Police this marked the third time hosting the event at Keterson Park on September 27th.
Uniform and civilian members of both police services took in donations by shaving their heads in support of childhood cancer research.
A goal of $25,000 was reached with officers raising $25,010.20.
Perth County OPP Operations Manager Staff Sergeant David Sinko says together with their partners with Stratford Police they were able to reach their goal in the fight against childhood cancer.
