In the spirit of giving back and helping those in need, Gabel Electric, Plumbing and Heating has given thousands of dollars of goods to the Listowel Salvation Army.
The company which held its Christmas party last week raffled off a pair of Toronto Maple Leafs tickets with a donation match with $3000 being raised.
Tim Buchanan, owner of Gabel Electric says in a time when food insecurity and more turn to food banks, its great to be able to give back whenever possible and help locals in need.
“It’s just a small way for us to give back to our local community. I know families are having a hard time and if they can get a warm meal on their plates over Christmas that means a lot to us.” said Buchanan.
Tim was grateful for the support their business has received over the last year and was thrilled to be able to give back local.
