Wellington County has been recognized by province for a handful of events and festivals.
Four local festivals have been named within the top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario by Festivals and Events Ontario.
Among them include the Meadows Music Festival, Hillside Festival, Erin Fall Fair and the Fergus Scottish Festival.
The recognition celebrates festivals across the province that excel in creativity, community impact and event excellence across the province.
The County is congratulating the organizers, volunteers and supporters who make these festivals noteworthy.
