With gas prices continuing to be on the rise, many are looking both provincially and federally for the solution.
Premier Doug Ford says there is a plan in place to drop gas prices by 5.7 cents before the next budget. Ford adding he’s calling on the federal government to match and have prices drop.
“I’ve asked the federal government to partner with us. Put 10 cents back into peoples pockets as well, that’s 20 cents. That’s a massive amount.” said Ford.
Ford promised in 2018 to lower gas prices by 10 cents which prompted his response recently for the federal government to match 10 cents as well.
The 2022 budget is set to delivered by March 31st 2022.
