Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae has announced funding for five local long term care homes.
$196,000 has been dished out to help ensure residents can connect to the right care in the right place.
Coming off the Local Priorities Fund, this fund is designed to support programs which connect people with the right care for them, reducing emergency department visits and hospital stays.
Among those receiving funding includes $127,496.71 for Spruce Lodge, $29,130.67 for Kingsway Lodge, $19,950 to the Greenwood Court, $14,051 for Strathcona Long Term Care with West Perth Village seeing $5,988.
