The Listowel-Wingham Hospitals Alliance is getting closer to the start of the expansion of the Fisher Family Primary Care Centre in Listowel.
During a board meeting last month, Shelley Reinhardt outlined the work completed so far for the expansion plans which includes construction design and engineering almost complete.
The project will include the demolition of Karges house at the corner of Inkerman and Sarah, 50 parking spaces including rough in for electric charge station and more accessible spots, a private registration area and space for physicians, nurse practitioners and resident program.
Construction is expected to start in March next year and last 12 months.
