It’s the first day of school for Avon Maitland District School Board, Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board and Upper Grand District School Board students.
As students head back to the classroom, drivers are asked to be cautious, obey posted speed limits, especially in school zones with more buses, pedestrians and cyclists on the roads and be prepared to stop at any moment.
Drivers are asked to give themselves extra time, not pass vehicles in school zones and always stop for school buses as they pick up and drop off students.
