Fire crews kept busy yesterday afternoon responding to a barn fire south of Newton on Line 29.
Perth East Fire crews first responded and were joined by nearby stations with North Perth and Wellesley Fire.
OPP and Perth County paramedics also attended the scene with the barn already destroyed by the time firetrucks had arrived.
Fire crews were able to contain the blaze to just the barn, protecting the home and implement filled drive shed.
