Nine finalists have been named for this years PitchIt! Minto Business Competition.
The Town of Minto and LaunchIt Business Exploration Centre is celebrating its 14th year as the competition continues to see growth to support entrepreneurship and small business growth.
The finalists include;
Luna Soul Collective, owned by Ashley Kirkpatrick
Playful Minds Respite+, owned by Heather Hughes
Harmonious Endings End of Life Doula, owned by Sue-Ann McGeragle
Minto’s Mind Space, owned by Tegan Patterson
Think N Thrive Tutoring, owned by Megan Hymers
My Rock Quest Climbing, owned by Justin Martin
Connecting the Dots (Mobile Phlebotomy), owned by Miranda Charles
Growing Nest Doula, owned by Beatrice Dopfer
Lisa Nandkumar Daycare, owned by Lisa Nandkumar
Each of the nine businesses will move on to pitch their ideas for a share of over $20,000 in cash and prizes donated by various local businesses and business support organizations.
Belinda Wick-Graham, Economic & Community Development Officer says the entrepreneurs are addressing real community needs and bring fresh, innovative ideas forward.
Each of the finalists represent a diverse range of services which reflect Minto’s enterprising spirit and wellness and education to healthcare, childcare and recreation.
