If you’ve been working from home, the feds are making some changes to make it much easier for you to claim expenses for your tax return.
Those who have been working from home for more than 50 percent of the time over the period of at least four weeks this year due to the pandemic can now claim their home office expenses deduction for 2020.
Workers can claim a $2 per day deduction for each day they worked from home up to a maximum of $400.
