FedDev Ontario invests $2 million in New Hamburg Mill

In response to the Agri-Food producers being hit hard by the economic impacts of the pandemic the Government of Canada announced today that they are investing 2 million dollars in a New Hamburg Feed Mill.

B&W Feed & Seed expects the investment to create 10 full-time jobs in New Hamburg and maintain the 28 existing positions already there.

The repayable investment will allow the company to install advanced manufacturing equipment and quadruple capacity to meet with customers demands.

The company expects to inject 20 million dollars of additional supply chain purchases into the Southwestern Ontario economy annual as well as undertake activities expanding into international markets.
