The Avon Maitland District School Board writing on social media, today marks diversity becoming more visible than ever as people continue to embrace cultures, identities and true selves in more open and direct ways. The need to show greater acceptance, respect and inclusion for everyone is vital.
The school board adds Pink Shirt Day is an opportunity to reflect on choosing acceptance, respect and inclusion instead of bullying.
