Ten new farm stands are up across Perth County and while fresh local produce is available from these stands, they act as a symbol of youth creativity and rural community pride.
The stands, built from the ground up by high school students, helps shine a light on the Discover More Flavour Farm Stand Project.
This initiative invited high school shop students to build farm stands which celebrate what makes Perth County special.
These stands are displayed at various locations over the summer as part of the Discover More Flavours campaign.
Perth County Warden Doug Kellum says these farm stands are more than structures, they are symbols of community collaboration, creativity and pride.
