Nominations are open for the Everyday Hero Awards with the Upper Grand District School Board.
The awards showcase those who go above and beyond, deserving some extra recognition. Megan Sicoli, Communications Administrative Officer for the Upper Grand District School Board says the list of those who can nominated go beyond the classroom.
“People should reflect on whether the nominee preforms their duties at a high level at all times. Nominees can be employees, volunteers, students, system partners meaning they could be bus drivers or crossing guards. Anyone in our school system.” said Sicoli
Nominations are being accepted until March 26th, you can fill out a nomination form on the school boards website under Everyday Heroes. The award ceremony will be live streamed on May 10th.
