Ernie Hardeman, Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs spoke to all farmers and agriculture workers as Canadian Agriculture Safety Week continues.
As the season begins to loom with warmer weather sticking around, Hardeman said safety on the farms this year extends beyond generic farm safety, those must be COVID ready to prevent any farm workplace outbreaks, which were among the worst during the pandemic last year.
Hardeman ended off by saying its the hard work of Canadian farmers and their workers who provide for rest of the country and keep the work sector in great shape.
