The Town of Erin has received a boost from the province’s Community Emergency Preparedness Grant.
This grant will be used to strengthen emergency readiness and service continuity.
The town welcomed Ontario’s Minister of Emergency Preparedness Jill Dunlop for the funding to the tune of $49,000.
This funding will allow for technology upgrades and investments such as enhanced emergency planning and training to help ensure essential services to remain available during disruptions.
Nina Lecic, Director of Legislative Services and Town Clerk says this investment strengthens the town’s readiness and operational resilience in the event of an emergency.
