The Town of Erin has adopted their first ever Transportation Master Plan, setting the tone for future infrastructure for road safety, active transportation and outlining truck bypass routes.
The document was reviewed and endorsed by council on December 11th with the town having commissioned 30 Forensic Engineering to undertake a study and analysis of Erin’s current transportation infrastructure and projected growth.
Erin’s Director of Infrastructure Services and Town Engineer, Brian Kavanagh says master plans tend to be detailed and ambitious in nature, with this plan being no exception adding staff will work to develop an implementation plan which takes a practical approach to adopting the recommendations in the plan.
